Check in was good with very friendly staff. After booking i received a few less friendly emails about parking, insisting that I pre book and prepay. One of these emails "Dear [Guest Name],
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Mantra on Hay for your upcoming stay this 2026-01-10

The room was dated and the bedding a mixture of sheets and duvets that didn't quite fit. The drop off parking outside the hotel was occupied mostly by the same two cars which caused irritation on checkout for us and other guests as we had to park either down the road or block traffic to load our bags into the car. There are definitely better options around.
