Real Roach Motel

Absolutely horrendous hotel. Smell of pot everywhere. Every single wall was dented, damaged and stained. When I turned on the lights roaches were everywhere. Multiple roaches in the corner near the refrigerator. The bathroom had five roaches on the walls and shower. The bedspread was stained and full of holes. The pillow cases don't look like they were changed in days. I'm floored that Motel 6 would allow this location to continue operating under the name.

When we walked into the Motel room we saw roaches scatter when we turned on the lights. We wanted to leave right away, but we had already driven 14 hrs and were exhausted. We were afraid we were going to end up in a wreck because we were overly tired. We took all of our belongings back out to our truck and slept with the lights on. We didnt even take a shower because roaches were on the towels, in the shower and on the floors . My husband killed at least 20 roaches before we tried to get some sleep . Not only did we have to deal with roaches but the faucet handle in the bathroom was broken. The room and blankets stunk of cigarette smoke and there was stains on the blankets. On top of it all ppl were screaming and hollering for hours to prevent us from even getting any kind of rest. We left about 4 am with barely any sleep . I hope the owner will clean this place up and get the exterminator in to get rid of the roaches. I think we should be reimbursed for the horrible experience. No one should have to pay $70 for a roach infested hotel room !!!!!

I only stayed one night at this location. The room was decent. There were several small to medium roaches that I noticed, mostly near or in the bathroom. The toilet flushed, but not like a normal toilet. It flushed and filled back up slowly. The mini fridge worked, but barely. The freezer part had melted, so there was water just sitting in the fridge part that had dripped down. I only kept water in it, and it was a decent cold temp. The microwave worked great. There was a Roku TV in the room with streaming apps and a live TV option with several channels to choose from, which was nice. The bed was comfortable, but the top comforter/blanket had several cigarette burn holes in it and was very thin. The air conditioner worked wonderfully, but it was leaking into and under the floor boards near the unit. So there wasn't water on the floor, but when I stepped on the floor boards in front of the unit, I could hear a 'squishing' sound from the water being under the boards. The wifi was pretty much unusable and not reliable at all, which was very disappointing. The owners could definitely use a better router or a range booster of some sort. I was in the room directly next to the office, yet the wifi was still bad. I ended up just using my phone's data instead. The front desk rep was nice and tried to help with the wifi, so I appreciated that. All in all it wasn't a bad stay, but there are several minor things that the property could fix to make it a better experience.

RUN AWAY FROM HERE

I don’t know what decade the pictures shown in the description were taken, but the rooms are DISGUSTING. Bugs everywhere, and not just roaches. The ceiling was falling apart over the bed. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut and kept popping open. The room smelled horribly of mildew and the cleaner they tried to cover it with burned our nostrils. What’s worse is that hotels.com wouldn’t even give us our money back because they claimed the hotel wouldn’t answer their calls.
