Little motel worth the stay

The motel is a small but nice The room was small but has recently been upgraded with with panel walls and new shower. It's a one owner motel. Each evening they have a campfire with chocolates and marshmallows. We would be happy to stay there again if the opportunity came up

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, enhanced by the quaint atmosphere, clean rooms, and friendly owners/staff. It was clear they wanted their guests to feel at home. The older building does call for adjustments for handicapped guests, but you can make it work as long as you aren't confined exclusively to a wheelchair.

This is an old fashioned motel. Family owned and boutique. The rooms have an up north cottage feel. Very well kept, very clean. Everything old is new again vib. Close to St. Ignace and the ferry docks. A bit north of town and quiet.

If you want a simple, no-frills mom and pop motel that's quiet, clean, comfortable, and has a good hot shower, this is the place. The Wi-Fi connection was only fair, but other then that, the stay was decent.

Very friendly staff, clean room. Especially like that we could walk right across the street and get some hot pizza and chips and have a picnic lunch at the table set up outside. Later saw some other guests enjoying the fire pit in the area so very nice.

Nice, quiet location. Loved the retro look of the microwave and fridge. Very friendly and helpful staff and there was a bonfire at 9 for the guests.

Friendly and Welcoming Stay at Cedars

Our stay at the Cedars Motel was amazing! The service provided by Hannah was excellent and friendly. The place gives off a very charming and welcoming feeling, like a stay at a cozy cabin. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to explore St. Ignace and Mackinac Island, will definitely be coming back here again and again whenever my family is in town again! Don’t miss your opportunity to stay at the friendliest hotel in town!
