10/10 Exceptional

I LOVE this place! Been staying here for years while my daughter attended HPU. The lovely diner-type restaurant across the street has closed & made it inconvenient to acquire food without a car, tho :-(

Awesome little Gem!!

Amazing stay! The place was super nice, with a very fair price. This will be my hotel of choice for future High Point visits. Rooms were spotless and very roomy and nice decorations. Nice little home away from home for the weekend.

Front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. Bed was the worst thing I've slept or tried to sleep in

Took my kiddo for an impromptu overnight mommy/daughter trip and needed a place to stay. Love older hotels with character, and this one is clean, quiet, and nostalgiac. Excellent service and no noise or issues!

Great value

Very well kept and very clean. Easy parking. Just what we needed for a quick stay. Only complaint is the bed is firm.

Quaint and clean.

Quaint place. Very close to concert venue. Clean and nice service. Never like exterior doors to parking lot.

The receptionist upon checking in was the nicest young lady. The lobby is welcoming with a surrounding of fresh flowers. Nice rooms kept very clean. I’m very happy I found this place to stay at and will most definitely stay there again when I return to High Point. It’s also within walking distance to the university.
Ericka, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Family owned, southwestern style, loved the ceiling fan and disinfected wipes and spray to provide that extra protection.

We were only staying one night for a college visit. Check-in was easy. The reservation was ready and the person who checked us in was friendly and professional. The room was clean and the rates were reasonable. There was even coffee! Highly recommend.

4/10 Fair

The property is clean and stafff we’re very nice. But, it’s out dated. When run water for my shower I had standing water, but I needed to bathe. The two nights were cold and I couldn’t find the heating unit. The next morning it was so noisy I couldn’t believe it. People talking metal continuously slamming it was horrible. There was an old refrigerator but no microwave to heat food. I will not use this hotel again.
Debbra, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Will definitely book again.

Older, no frills hotel close to High Point University, High Point Theatre, and the furniture district. Check in was quick and the innkeeper is very friendly. Room was clean and had a mini fridge, TV, WiFi, and coffee maker. Since the place is older there aren’t a ton of outlets, so if you have multiple electronics to charge bring an extension cord. Will definitely be back.
Meredyth, 1-night trip

Unique property. Room had a weird smell. Would not stay here again.
Kathryn, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good for one night

Booked this for High Point University orientation. It does the job but was A little pricey for what it is. Too much sanitizing. Staff was friendly and helpful when fan wasn’t working.
Laura, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Retro, but clean. Parking lot is surrounded by walls with only one entry and it is well lit at night, although isolated in the downtown furniture district, I have become very comfortable staying there. There are no amenities, but I don’t need them. Good price.
Scott D, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Terrible my trip was previously cancelled. I called 48 hrs before to cancel the reservation and was still charged and stated they is no reimbursement.
Lesvia, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I was a little skeptical to stay in a non main brand property in this area- however, I LOVED this place for the price point- it was so much more economical compared to the bigger hotel names you would know. It was SO CLEAN. It is an older property- but the owners really tried to make it a cute theme, it reminded me of like the retro hotels of like 1960s-1970s of Dean Martin & other Italian crooners. We got in really late- and they helped very nicely to get us checked in. My girls and I were travelling just us and I felt really safe getting unpacked, but the cleanliness and the flowers were soo sweet- so I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Don't waste the money on the bigger brand hotels if you want a clean, economical, safe place to stay.
Carrie, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Not Recommended

Room had a forced air heating and air conditioner system that was incredibly loud which cycled every few minutes. Beds were very uncomfortable. Impossible to get any sleep.
Michael, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Well after our second room the first one had no heat, it was okay a little run down. but it was fresh paint and new rug. It was on the second floor and no elevator the stairs were a little scary the handrail was wobblily, and the stairs were thin in some places. The room could have used an airing out. They tried to make our stay good. they cleaned our room daily and made sure we had enough towels.
