This was amazing! The hotel is one of the best we have every visited, and we have been in many places! Really nice ambiance and the staff is super friendly! Must also add that we stayed in the executive room which was amazing. We really loved the terrasse, the spacious living room and the spacious bathroom. We had the place with two kids and got an extra bed for one of them. This was no problem as the bedro was spacious. Working place was also just behind the bed and worked really well! A must go to hotel at Bintan!

Large property, with lots of things for the kids to do. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Kids loved the kids club, free arcade, pools, playground and chocolate hour! Breakfast buffet had a huge spread and a little corner for kids to take their own food! Special shoutout to the chef at the beach club! His cooking was very good! Yumz! Beach had white fine sand and clear green waters with gentle waves, great to swim and kayak in. Hopefully the beach will remain clean and unpolluted when the new jetty gets built nearby. Only downside were mosquitoes everywhere and ants in the rooms. It was a memorable, fun stay! Highly recommend!

Property was clean, overall friendly staff, good location (proximity to beach). However, when I paid using cash (two instances), the restaurant staff returned me a smaller amount than the change due (1,000 instead of 1,450 and 56,000 instead of 56,200) without any explanations. Afterwards, when I asked why, they said they don't have coins (which actually the front desk staff did have 500 IDR coins) and offered to return an amount greater than the change due. While I appreciate the staff's efforts, I would not expect to have such experiences at a 5-star resort. Nonetheless, overall I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is new and very clean. A lot of activities to choose from however the water activities are not complimentary. The bikes are free and it’s a nice ride around the hotel compound. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They always ask for feedback from the clients. The buffet is great as well, wide spread of different cuisines, Movenpick resort is definitely a great place for families.

The beautifully landscaped grounds, stunning beaches, and exceptional staff make this property stand out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though a bit more space would make them even better. The breakfast buffet is outstanding—spotlessly clean, with an impressive variety of fresh, delicious options. What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. The entire staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel welcome. A special thank you to the hotel manager, Donnie, and the outstanding Executive Chef, Massimo, whose professionalism and hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this place. Easy trip over from Singapore by ferry. Gorgeous hotel, rooms, reception, pool was just gorgeous . On our last day we wandered over to the sports club, another lovely pool and stunning beach. Food was great and all service was lovely. Chocolate tea was the icing on the top. Very helpful hotel shuttle service.

Hotel is new, which was great but felt like they were not prepared for the public holiday + school holiday crowd. Everything was slow. We had to wait 30+ minutes to be served our drinks (a tea and a beer as well as some tap water) and close to 45 mins for our food during 4pm period at their Klon Tong restaurant. Staffs quoted kitchen was not operational yet so they only use 1 central kitchen and they were busy (?!), all we see are 5-6 people cramping at the bar area not sure what they were doing.. the next day, we had to queue to even get a table during the breakfast buffet. The breakfast spread was good but food quality was so so. There was also a lizard in our room (Garden View) and a 10-minute power outage for god knows what reason. To give credit, the staffs tried their best to be hospitable but they are not able to answer or solve our pain points there and then which was really frustrating. There’s definitely a lot more rooms for improvement!
