Lobby music outside the front of the building, on a speaker - cannot be controlled, apparently.
It plays ALL night long. If you’re staying here and your room is south facing towards the entrance, you get to enjoy that music ALL NIGHT!!
Even through the Wyoming winter wind, you can hear it in your room. At 3am I called to the front desk. She says she can’t turn it off, nor can they can’t turn it down.
She said, “It’s like Walmart but it’s a Hilton thing and we can’t do anything and we can’t move you because you booked your room through a third party.”
I used Hotels.com. Because we didn't book with them direct, they weren't willing to do ANYTHING.
Our room was one of the handicap rooms, even though they had others available, they refused to move us or turn the music down. I leave a lot of great reviews - this one is an accurate account of the situation. I travel with a sound machine. We heard the guitar strumming of the music OVER the sound machine in our room and we were on the second floor.
I asked for a late check out. It's normally 11am. They said 11:30 then called the room twice to be sure I was out. Wow. My late check out with BonVoy is 4pm.
If you want to be treated like a deadbeat because you booked with Hotels.com and not directly with the hotel, and If NOT sleeping is your goal - THIS is your place to stay!!!!
