Located right across from the train station, this hotel was quiet and well situated for anything Lausanne. The accommodations are simple but it gets the job done. The staff is quite helpful. We have stayed in several places here and this one works out just great.

Great location, clean room, nice staff, beds were comfortable. The problem was that, on a hot day, the A/C unit didn’t do the job. So it was so hot we couldn’t sleep at all at first, and then not well. Also since the appliances in the room only operate when the key card is inserted, by the time we found this out it was too late to move rooms. I’d stay here again but never in hot weather.

A functional hotel conveniently situated opposite Lausanne railway station and 40 yards from the metro entrance. The complimentary transport card that is provided allows easy access up to the old town (2 stops) and down to the lakeside (4 stops). My room facing the station (currently undergoing major expansion) was compact and reasonably comfortable, with a notably high pressure shower. The station surroundings are typically unprepossessing but the attractive parts of the town are not far distant.

Also, no special facilities were available, as one would expect from a 4 star hotel.
