First room had a large area of old urine stains on the wall by the toilet. It smelled. The kitchen table was broken and wobbly and pinched my daughter’s finger. The stairs to the second floor were very rickety. The heavy door wall screen with metal sections fell on me when I opened it. Staff tried to help and offered a second and third room, both of which had several water damage stains and a strong mold smell. We were in the second room maybe 20 minutes and all of us felt sick and when we went outside, my hair reeked of mold. The beach was lovely, but we were unable to stay due to the health and safety issues. They didn’t fight us on the refund at least. Place was seriously gross though and not worth what they were charging regardless of the beach location.
We were given rooms 63, 56, and 69. Walls felt like walls in a mobile home and the ceiling was drop down with tiles. They are also clearly enhancing the photos of their rooms on their website. For example, all three rooms I saw had the old, discolored, drop down ceiling tiles (many of them stained), but in the photos they are clean and bright white.
