Overall the hotel is fine but it does seem older and it’s beginning to show its age. There aren’t many amenities so it’s nice if you just need a place to stay. It’s also a super convenient location for visiting the downtown area.

It was quiet and clean. Shower didn’t drain well, other than that it was good.

Due to remodeling the score is not higher. Great location but parking and amenities were not the greatest

The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The common areas of the property were worn and in some cases shabby. My guess is that the owners bought the property, put little money into it, and plan to sell the property as a tear-down. Signage from the Holiday Inn era is still up. Use less deodorizing cleaner. The location is valuable as it is across the street from a convention center. Also close to gorgeous riverfront.

Great location but was not informed before arrival of ongoing construction in the hotel and on site parking was blocked off. While we were given a code fir free parking next door in ramp, this caused frustration at check in with people getting stuck out front. Loose tiles on bathroom floor made for dangerous shower exit. Fridge in room didn't work. Told thos info to front desk, but they didnt seem to care.

My husband and I always stay here when we need to spend the night in La Crosse. We like the ease of parking, check in, location and it just being a great place to stay!

The location is EXCELLENT!!! Beds were comfortable & would definitely stay again in hope I get get a spot for parking at the hotel. Parking was horrible as it is very limited so they do give you free parking in the parking ramp.

The bed was clean and comfy. This was right. It was also in the location I wanted it to be, so I could walk to my event. The rest not so good. You pay to park in the garage around the corner. Breakfast is not served as I was led to believe when I booked. A lot of it was location and events happening when I was in town, but room was loud. TV remote was falling apart in my hand and seemed to barely work. Shower may as well not have a drain and hot water hard to get. Construction dumpster being filled out front did nothing for the noise and ambiance. Whole place just felt generally dingy. Would not stay there again.

The room was clean. Mattress was still good. Bathroom was okay though we had to keep the tub drain closed because there was an unpleasant odor when it was open. Common areas were a bit run down and the floors could do with some vacuuming and cleaning. Plenty of nicks and scrapes and other signs of a formerly lovely hotel that is still a decent place to stay but could use some care and attention from owners. Our room rate with tax was under $200 and I wouldn’t pay more than that. Definitely not worth their $459 list rate for a king room! No breakfast. Restaurant and bar was closed off and being used as storage space.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. You could tell that they were doing the best they could with the hotel. The room was nice and big. The bed was extremely comfortable. Also, the air-conditioner worked great and kept the room nice and cool. Sadly, the bathroom needed a lot of help. The tub was rusted and gross. When we went to shower and you couldn't even get the shower to turn on. We called the front desk and and they moved us to a new room. However, the air-conditioner in that room did not work AND the tub was also rusted. We asked to cancel our second night and we found a new hotel.
