The room was clean and comfortable, but the management’s handling of my booking was unacceptable. The hotel charged my card for the full amount an hour before their office closed, without warning. I had already paid the deposit and first night stay, so this felt excessive and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, I was told by the manager that office hours were 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. on Thursday, and I even have an email confirming that. However, they sent an amended schedule the day of check-in — which I didn’t see because I relied on the original information provided when I booked. I showed up promptly at 8 a.m. to pay in person, but the manager was late, and I had to leave for my retreat without staying.
Overall, the room was fine, but the lack of clear communication and the unauthorized early charge completely ruined my experience. I wouldn’t book again unless management improves their professionalism and consistency.
