Really loved the location. The room has a simple layout and big bathroom. I personally love the big open windows in our room. We need to asked for amenities (room slippers, toothbrush) because they don’t put them on the room. However, the staff was helpful when we asked for these stuff. Also a point to note: when you returned late, you have to ring the bell to be let in. Reminds me of my old boarding school day!

Next to train station so it was very convenient. The hotel was clean and pretty. My room was very clean as well and the bed was very comfortable. I would have liked a firmer pillow because the one they had was too soft. The room also came with a balcony so that was a nice bonus. The trams are also right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is super well situated if you are using the train, a few minutes from the station. Also, the Basel card for the public transport was very much appreciated and used. Tram stops right in front of the hotel. We arrived around 10am from a transatlantic flight and was given our room right away, which was so nice. Staff is very nice and helpful not only at the reception, but in the restaurant for breakfast as well. Room was nice and clean. Would stay here again if in Basel.
