During my recent stay, it was evident that the property has undergone a change in ownership, and unfortunately the transition appears to be impacting the guest experience. Check‑in took over 20 minutes, and there was no staff present at the front desk. A handwritten note instructed guests to call for assistance, but after three unanswered calls, someone eventually emerged from a back room to help. The employee who checked us in seemed unfamiliar with basic procedures, which added to the delay. Upon entering the room, it was clear that housekeeping standards were not being met. The floors looked as though they had not been cleaned in quite some time, and the bathroom showed signs of inadequate maintenance. The mini‑fridge still contained drinks from a previous guest. While the beds themselves were clean, the overall condition of the room suggested a lack of attention to detail. Guests should also be aware that there are no amenities provided, no shampoo, conditioner, soap, or coffee, so plan to bring your own. The property currently operates more like a budget roadside motel than a traditional hotel. The new owners appear to be young and still learning the demands of hospitality. However, informing guests that staff are unavailable between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. because they “need sleep” is not consistent with industry standards.
