- Aesthetically, everything is a bit on the older side. - Functionally, everything was quite satisfactory. - Was regardless quite surprised with how well maintainted and furnished the room was. - Staff were polite and helpful. - Complimentary breakfast is offered but I didn't partake. - As far as bang for your buck goes, this was a very pleasant surprise. - Not sure I would recommend it to families? As a solo traveler it was more than adequate, but there wasn't much to attract families either on site or around. - I would regardless recommend it to most people and will most likely return on my next trips to Gatineau.

I had a nice stay at Motel Adam even though the property was a bit raw compared to larger hotels. It was cheaper than staying in Ottawa, and the rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds. Check‑in and check‑out were easy, and free parking made everything simple. It was a little loud at times with other visitors talking outside the window at late hours, but people can be like that sometimes. Despite the noise and the more basic feel of the motel, I still had a pleasant stay.

They have done a very nice job to make the rooms very comfortable. They fold the towels so nicely and very nice attention to detail overall. Two outdoor chairs at each unit and guests sit outside and chat - very nice. The breakfast is very good for a buffet. Lots of tables. The pools is great and they provide pool towels. I highly recommend if you are ok to be in Gatineau about a 10 minute drive from Wellington Street in Ottawa.

I stayed at Motel Adam for 2 nights during an unexpected situation after my apartment in Ottawa was flooded due to a rainstorm. Overall, my experience had both positives and a few challenges. Check-in was quite chaotic, likely because of the storm and the number of people affected, which is understandable given the circumstances. However, on my first night, the power went out while I was sleeping, and I woke up feeling very hot and uncomfortable. That definitely affected my rest and was not a pleasant experience. On the positive side, the room itself was clean, which I appreciated. Parking is included in the fees, which is very convenient if you’re driving. They also offer breakfast, although I didn’t personally take advantage of it. I initially booked for one night but needed to extend my stay, and the staff were accommodating and allowed me to do so without any issues. The staff overall were very friendly and welcoming. There is a lady who I believe is a manager, and she was especially kind and helpful. When I checked out and mentioned the power outage issue, one of the staff members offered to take care of my next booking. That gesture showed that they genuinely care about their guests, and it made a big difference in how I viewed my overall experience. Because of the excellent customer service and their willingness to make things right, I would rate my stay 4 stars. I hope they follow through on their promise regarding my next booking, and I will update my review.

My family and I stayed for five nights. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was a delight for my kids. The breakfast was monotonous. For a stay of several days, there needs to be some diversity. The rooms were clean but could have been better. Safe parking was available. The motel is located about ten minutes driving distance from the hub. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
