What a wonderful end to a journey through the Baltics. Cloistered behind ancient walls, I enjoyed several days in a spacious and airy attic room in what was formally a 400 year old monastery. Surrounded by some of the most important religious sites on the Way of St James, I would not hesitate to return to Domus Maria.

Great location in the Old City. Charming staff and a nice feel throughout. The rooms are fairly uniform, although the ones on the top floor have sloping ceilings. All very clean, perhaps a little spartan for some tastes, but that fits the atmosphere of an old religious building. Tea/coffee in the room (could benefit from milk sachets too), but no fridge. No a/c, but windows can be opened if necessary. Great breakfast in the old refectory, with hot and cold buffet, coffee machines etc.

Amazing location! And so nice they have parking! It's 25 euros a day I think. The breakfast was not the greatest. The AC wasn't fully working when we got there but then it turned too cold to need it. They only had 1 key and I was with a friend so that was a little annoying. Otherwise would highly recommend.
