The hotel was well maintained, great parking and bedrooms very clean. We had a party of 9 staying and we had extremely long waits for evening meal and breakfast, over an hour. The front of house staff that we met face to face were lovely.

Located next to the racecourse. In a quiet location. Ideal place to relax. Newly refurbed rooms well equipped and very clean. Very helpful staff. Good menu options though limited for non-meat eaters. Overall good for a few days, free parking outside.

Super comfy bed. Room suitable. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I would suggest is a grab handle at the other side of the shower cubicle. I found it quite high to step up onto shower base. A shower mat was provided, good idea.

Ideal location for travelling. Bed on first stop over was extremely soft but second time we stopped was better. The first room was clean, the second had a big cobweb just above bedhead. Second stay we were on ground floor and unfortunately horse floors arrived at 9.30pm to unload horses and they were outside our room so was very noisy . Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Room was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant was lovely. What wasn't good was the racket from other resident drinking and socialising outside the hotel beneath our room . It was noisy till very late on Thursday evening and worse on Friday evening/Saturday morning when the disturbance continued beyound 12.30am. When we stay there again, and we will, we shall be making sure our room is in a quieter part of the hotel.
