Staff provide attentive but not obtrusive service. Really lovely place to stay. Imagine sitting amidst the vines, fruit veg and flower garden by the lavender edged pool watching the sunset with wine from their own vines before sampling their Michelin type taster menu. "Loved the staff! Check in was very pleasant. Staff helped us with hiking ideas and times. Hotel’s view is out of this world. Prob best view I’ve ever had. We went to valley of the nuns for lunch at naibors cafe and it was the best lunch I’ve had in Portugal. Fresh homemade cooked food. The only sad thing was we had to leave. I would definitely return if I ever have the chance"
