My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this really cute apartment. Our apartment was #15, and it became our little home. The air conditioning and fan were welcome as the mornings in B'dos became warm quite quickly. The staff was very helpful and resolved our TV issues within minutes. Mrs. Brown is a sweetheart and made us feel very welcomed. The apartments are within minutes to a main road with restaurants, banks, super markets, and the beach and board walk.

The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good. The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. . However,there was a misunderstanding on the package booked. Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person. This was my first trip to Barbados. I selected this hotel specifically for the design, decor and aesthetics.... and yes the hotel is as beautiful and vybesy as pictured. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Butterfly Beach Hotel. The whole place was very clean and bright. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were really spacious. We met several guests who were repeat guests, and we would certainly return to Butterfly Beach Hotel on future trips to Barbados. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and it was evident that the entire staff takes great pride in offering a wonderful experience for guests.

I arrived late at night for a stay at The Sands right down the street, but I didn't want to spend the money for the all-inclusive resort for the first night, just to immediately go to bed and then leave to go sailing the next morning. So, I booked my first night at Melrose to save a couple hundred dollars. Melrose's rooms are more like small apartments than hotel rooms. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and I had zero issues, and it's equipped so that you could easily stay there for a while...

I spent 7 days here at Jo Js. Facility has everything you need, clean, comfortable, and located in quiet Bajan neighborhood. Within easy walking distance of beach, Oistins, and buses that will take you anywhere on the island. Host John is an interesting man, well travelled and possess local knowledge for anything you could possibly want to do in Barbados. I would stay here again when I come back
