LGBTQIA-Welcoming Hotels in Slovenia

We loved everything about the Hotel Zlada Ladjica. The location was perfect, The room we had and the view from the balcony were beautiful. The staff was friendly and we also really enjoyed the dinner we had there. Vito the sommelier was particularly helpful. He suggested a fabulous wine for dinner and gave us an great list of small, family-run wineries to visit in the Brda region.

Prachtige locatie. Het huisje was nog beter in orde dan we verwacht hadden. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst.

Best location in Ljubljana! Window looking right out onto the river and busy cafes.

Great for people watching Loved the belcony

Very convenient to public transport. Easy to get to the city center. Very nice clean modern place with a well stocked mini kitchen. The staff was very friendly. Two things to suggest for improving. The shower head only has one place it rests and it’s about at tummy level. You could hold it with your hands but it would be nice if there was a second holder so it would shower down on your whole body. Also the towels were quite rough. Would definitely stay here again tho!

The room was very spacious and bathroom was very modern. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast which was large. Staff extremely attentive. It was a 15 minute to Old Town. Parking was very expensive at 35 Euros/nite. Two suggestions to hotel, rethink the parking rates, and offer fragrance free bathroom products.

Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town.

My wife and I recently visited Austria, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia. It was a terrific vacation and we booked lodging in six different locations. The G-Design Hotel was the very best of all. The staff were absolutely outstanding at all hours of the day or night! Our genuine thanks to Matt (Mattheus?) at the front desk, and Malita, who attended to our breakfast needs! The hotel itself was very clean, and the beds were absolutely incredible! If your a light sleeper, you won't hear a pin drop....

The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. It was close to the mall, which was convenient.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Easy access to the water too.

This beautiful little boutique hotel is in a great location, right by the river walk with lots of cafes and restaurants. We loved the rooftop with the small pool, great view of the castle. This was a surprising find, although one small thing - if you arrive by car it is a bit of a challenge to get there, our GPS took us right into a parking garage, from where it was a short walk across the river to the hotel. This was a bit unexpected and we drove around a bit at first because we thought our...

Nice hotel for transit between Italy and Croatia. Very good location and service..

The front desk attendant was extremely helpful and very friendly!

Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer.
