Can I buy and launch a floating lantern in Phuket?

Are there any romantic festivals in Phuket?
- Parejas
One of Phuket's most romantic festivals is Loy Krathong, which takes place in November. You'll see hundreds of lit paper lanterns and krathongs (lotus-shaped rafts) being released into the sky and water in the evening. The festival is a big night for couples, as they make a wish for long-lasting love. It's a very good sign if their krathongs stay close together in the water.
The Baba Wedding Festival in Phuket Town is also quite romantic. It takes place in mid-June to celebrate the traditions of Phuket's Thai-Chinese community. The event's highlight is a mass wedding ceremony, in which you can participate for a fee.
