We had an overall good stay at Golden Prague Rooms. The location is absolutely fantastic-everything is within easy walking distance. The room itself was very comfortable, featuring a cozy bed and a nice, clean bathroom.
A massive shoutout to Jíří at the front desk! He was incredibly personable, highly knowledgeable about the city, and really added something special to our stay with his great recommendations.
The only real downside was the sound insulation, which is quite poor. The rooms use traditional regular keys instead of electronic key cards, meaning you hear every single turn and click when neighbors open or close their doors. Unfortunately, we had some very rude fellow guests slamming doors and talking loudly in the dead of night. While I know the hotel can't control how inconsiderate other people are, the thin insulation definitely magnifies the noise.
Despite the nighttime noise, the comfort, location, and excellent service from Jíří made it a worthwhile stay!
