Nice hotel. Fun play room for kids. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. but a few things that were a little frustrating. We are a family of five. They have us four towels. Like why can’t we have five? The elevator is really cold. The pool is really cold. Location is good. Parking is really expensive. Overall I would recommend.

Good location within walkable distance of Helsinki city centre, outdoor play areas and the library, which my daughters loved. The front desk staff could be more helpful with giving details of their facilities - where to find things, timing of breakfast etc.

The tram stop is right outside, or a little 10 minute walk through a nice park to the city centre. Breakfast was well organised with booked slots so it was never too busy. Staff were friendly and helpful

Exellent staff and the free breakfast. Great location. My wife and l had to but the top thin mattress on the floor to sleep for 5 nights because the beds were too soft. No fan in the WC.

Just had a week at the Scandic Park hotel. Very well located next to a large park with a lake and multiple play parks. Travelled as a family of four with a 9yr old and 7yr old, took us about 15mins to walk from the hotel to the central railway station (avoiding the playparks!). Breakfast was plentyful with something for everyone, hot items stayed hot and the coffee was strong, good start to the day. There is a pool and sauna for guests to use on the top floor. The pool was fresh water and very cold but the kids enjoyed it for about 30mins before their lips were blue.. We had a superior family room which was spacious and split into two areass so the kids had tbeir own space and TV. Bathroom was large with seperate shower and bath, and lovely warm under floor heating. Hotel was also near the Olympic stadium, Opera house and the Football stadium. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area, we used Google to find recommendations and enjoyed every meal out. I would stay here again and loved Helsinki

Comfortable stay in a quality hotel

The hotel was in a good location and had a good appearance. It was very busy so they could have opted a breakfast option on the top floor which they have done before when busy. Also the middle lift was not working for most of Saturday which added to congestion for the other 2. The restaurant as well although providing elegant food for dinner, the service was a little slow. Overall the hotel was well kept and staff were friendly and there were just a few areas where small improvements could have been made.

One of the reasons for staying here again, the hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, and gym facilities. The rooms. Are pleasantly clean and studio like for solo travelers. Though due to the housekeeping aspect the hallway wood trim along the walls were badly scratched and damaged by the carts used to carry clean towels and other cleaning supplies for the employees each day. Other areas of note is the vacuum cleaner doesn’t have a specific model to clean corners, edges, or the overhead vents for the rooms. They are coated over with a film of collected dust. Like in the Galway’s along the edges of the carpet and running wood trimming everywhere. The housekeeping should have dusters to easily wipe off surfaces. And the management should invest on finding some sort of wall protectors for the wood trim in the hallways.

Rummet stort, tyst, rent och bekväma sängar. Poolen är i kallaste laget och det s k omklädningsrummet litet och trångt. Städning av rummet, nja.. vore bra om det sker före kl 15 på em...😳 Valde ingen städning 2 dagar pga det. Tredje dagen blev det städat, dvs tömde papperskorgen och slätade ut täckena lite hjälpligt på sängen...😳 Frukosten mycket prisvärd och mycket att välja mellan😍

Ihana ja viihtyisä huone, nautimme. Käytiin siivoamassa pyydettäessä ja oli siistiä. Ihana, kun pystyi ostaa salaattia/evästä aulasta yömyöhään, kun tultiin, kun kauppaan olisi pitänyt erikseen lähteä kauemmas ja väsytti. Saatiin jopa haarukat lainaan. Hyvää palvelua. Vastaanotossa pitkiä jonotuksia (10-20 min), ei infottu syytä tai aika-arviota, ei huomioitu jonottajia millään tavalla eikä pahoiteltu tilannetta tai annettu mahdollisuutta kysyä, mikä ei ollut hyvää palvelua. Myöhästyimme 2 kertaa tämän takia sovituista menoista, mikä ärsytti aikalailla. Aamupalalla ei päästy omaan pöytään pariskuntana, vaan piti istua isoissa pöydissä sumpussa muiden kanssa, mikä ei ollut kauhean miellyttävää eikä intiimiä, kun ei pystynyt rauhassa edes jutella puolison kanssa. Tähän varmasti löytyisi jokin pöytäjärjestelyratkaisu tai edes ohjausta olisi kaivannut, kun oli niin ahdasta. Tarjottavat ja jopa kahvi oli useampaan otteeseen loppu ja piti pyytää lisää.
