Chris the in keeper, seemed friendly enough upon our arrival and helped us with our luggage. He was able to change our reservation to a room on the first floor, which was very convenient for us.
He did explain the timing for breakfast the next morning and other housekeeping items. Then promptly disappeared.
There was no Wi-Fi and therefore we couldn’t watch television, I did text him to advise him, and he came a couple of times, but nothing was resolved, and there was a message displaying on the television that data had run out in more data had to be purchased. We never had Wi-Fi during our two nights stay nor did Chris explain that we could watch DVD movies.
The next morning he came in and placed down the breakfast and promptly left. Never described what it was he was serving.
The following morning was the same thing, set the breakfast down and promptly whisked away without a word.
I did read reviews that he had been a very friendly host, alas, we did not get to experience this.
It is an old house and charming, however, one of the outside steps was missing a good chunk of it, which could cause someone to fall, I almost did.
We felt the very awkward vibe being there to be honest.
On the positive note, the breakfast food was very good, our bed was comfortable, our room was spacious and clean, our bathroom was small, but very clean.
Needless to say, we will not be returning.
