This hotel is dated, needs a little love with some renovations. The staff was friendly and we liked the amenities. Right when you walk into where the front desk is, you get a smell of the pool, as it is in an open area near the front, with a handful of rooms facing the pool area. The pool and hot tub were clean. We also enjoyed the area where the pool tables are located, as well as the back patio area, which overlooks a mountain range. We watched the sunset, and it was beautiful. Our main issue was the cleanliness of the room. When we walked into our room, there was a musty smell, and we couldn't tell if someone had smoked in there previously. We noticed food particles/crumbs throughout the room; it had not been vacuumed. The comforter on one bed was torn, and the other comforter had stains all over it. I also saw fingerprints/smudges from dirty hands throughout, on the mirror, on the restroom counter, and the TV remote. I wiped down everything and requested a vacuum for the room. It was fine for a 1-night stay, again, the amenities were a plus for our family (13-year-old and 10-year-old).
