Company obviously put some money into renovating this hotel and it looks great! Service could have been better. Upon arriving, I waited at the front desk for 5 minutes before the kid walked from behind a wall, 5’ away, I could see ai was under video surveillance. Unfortunately the young man never greeted me or apologized for the delay. Other than that check in was fine. Breakfast was terrible, young lady at the front desk was not paying attention, and there was very little food to choose from. As we were leaving the breakfast area, she was frantically microwaving food to refill, too little too late. When leaving our room, a male housekeeper was standing in front of our room with his carts. No attempt to move out of our way so we could leave, and he stood there glaring a bad look at us. We said good morning, and received nothing back, except a continued stare of intimidation until the doors of the elevator closed. Some things to note, rooms have hard floors, and are not carpeted, makes the feel of the room very cold. Also any movement in the bed makes a lot of noise. Overall we made the best of our stay, and we again appreciate the upgrades to the hotel. Management should either do a better job of customer service, or hire better staff.
