Our experience was not great. I’ll just list all the issues we encountered during our stay:
1) our room was dirty, chipped and peeling paint in multiple areas
2) every corner of the room had dirt build up from improper cleaning and everything being mopped to the corners
3) the hot tub was broken, no heads up given at check in or booking
4) the breakfast was sad, multiple guests complaining, didn’t even have salt and pepper available.
5) if any guest sat at the table by the hot food, no one could get behind them to get the hot food, it was so crammed tight.
6) not enough food available for a family to eat at the same time, 2-3 people at a time could eat and then had to wait for more food to come out. We ended up using DoorDash.
7) the whole “non-smoking” hotel wreaked like weed
8) and the icing on the cake - there was a FREAKING CATHETER in one of our beds!!! Yes it was new and wrapped, but gross!! And if an entire long catheter could be missed that means nothing was really cleaned, was it?!?
9) young lady we complained about this to apologized and offered us extra blankets and said she’d inform the manager in the morning and see what could be done.
10) never heard from manager, and person working at check out on Monday said the manager doesn’t even work weekends so we wouldn’t hear back.
11) key cards deactivated after day one
12) door doesn’t shut all the way, you can see gaps in the door and unless you’re really careful it acts like it locked but it actually pushes open
