This hotel is simply amazing and is absolutely impecable, the location is fantastic in the middle of the Matera Sisi. We had a great dinner at the terrace restaurant. The owner, Enza took care of us personally and made sure everything was ok during our stay ! The Quarry Resort exceeded all our expectations. From the minute we parked our rental car at an offsite location we were quickly driven to the hotel. Porters took our luggage down cobblestone streets and stairs to the hotel. The location of the hotel is a wow moment. The setting amongst the Sassi is one of a kind. Check in was very quick and we were shown to our beautiful room. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was the best I’ve ever experienced. The dining and bar areas of the hotel are terrific as well. You cannot go wrong staying at this beautiful hotel.

the hotel was lovely but there were a few pointers that they need to take on board The breakfast was ok but ok for 55sttar is not ok just felt it was rationed whereas you would want to see loads of fresh fruit meats etc Coffee in room Nescafe is dead now classy hotels have the pod machines We stayed in 410 which is one of the top rooms first night brilliant up until 1230am but she got an eye infection that night so the next next in bed at 1030 realising the terrace is above you so listen to 40 people moving there chairs and tables until 1230(there was a party of 20 that started their meal at 2200) so was a bit off putting but we would have normally been up but i can imagine what some customers would be saying Cheers Paul

The property is magnificent with all the ancient cave features and yet modern luxury. Staff especially reception Antonio Giovanna and Aldo provided an exceptional service, totally personalised, and just a whatsapp msg away. I had missing things in my room such as coffee sacheta and body cream and when i asked if these are/could be provided, they were at me within minutes. The room is a dream come true, ancient cave features met with luxury amenities and room comfort. Breakfast was another jaw drop, down in the lower cave levels of the property, with personalised service by a lovely gentleman who was attentive and wouldnt let me do anything myself such as get coffee water etc :) an omelette menu and an egg menu is served too.. I was a solo female traveller i felt completely safe and treated like a princess, and the hotel and its staff together with the magic of Matera made my holiday simply unforgettable and totally exceeded my expectations. Again, I thank the staff for going way beyond their duties to make sure all my needs and wants were taken care of, (including helping with tours and restaurants, also with transfers), and for making this holiday a fairytale for me.. tnk you.

Hotel en el corazón de Matera, la habitación que nos tocó con jacuzzi es buenísima y muy bonita, hotel muy limpio, con Lounge y excelente desayuno, lo mejor fue la atención de todo el personal especialmente de Angelo. Llevábamos coche pero no es posible estacionarlo cerca, esto no es un problema ya que ellos ofrecen el servicio de estacionamiento y tomar un shuttle, el costo es de 30 euros por día completo.
