Slippery shower / great area for shopping
Area was great lots of options for food and shopping . Room was nice . But what ever chemicals they use ro clean the shower left it so slippery that my wife fell and hit her head and has a knot on her forehead she had to place towels on the shower floor just to finish washing up . Spoke to some at the front desk they were no help what so ever

Too Late Check In Time
Our stay has been excellent every time we've stayed. The major downside is the late afternoon check in time. As we arrive from the immediate Bay Area about 1 - 2 pm, the 4:00 pm check in time is not early enough. Realize that staff needs time to clean, but it means that we have to figure out what to do in the area (without much direction or knowledge of area) before checking in. Is there a way to check in say by 3 pm without financial penalty? Thank you,.

I know this is an older hotel, but the inside of the room had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. There was also a strong chemical smell. I stayed in this hotel many times over the years as I frequently drive the 5 to Oregon. The hotel needs some deep cleaning.

Overal stay ok. Pros- Staff is great, very attentive and accomadated our needs while family member was critical in ICU Breakfast had a nice variety Evening reception is a nice touch. Close to stores and restaurants. Quiet room. Cons- Room is a bit small for a suite. No real closet just a bar to hang a few items. No dresser No clock Shower and bathroom are very small and you need long arms to reach around shower door to turn on the water, very awkward and cold.
