The staff member who checked us in told us we didn't have towels yet, but housekeeping would be bringing them, & the floors were "still wet" & she "didn't know why; maybe housekeeping had just mopped." When we went to the room, the floors were wet and sticky. I took the bath mat towel & slid it all over the room with my foot & turned it over & it was black. Everything that has metal was badly rusted, the bed linens including the pillowcases smelled badly of dog, there was a faint blood stain in the middle of the sheet, the curtains had dirt stains all over them, the microwave was burned badly on the inside and/or rusted & smelled awful. A man not dressed in any of decent clothing, with a t-shirt, shorts, & Christmas socks to his knees, did not identify himself, knocked on the door & handed us two towels: we had a total of two in the room. A couple minutes later, he knocked on the door & wanted the towels back. He brought a different microwave, but it was in the same condition as the first. The attendant, Patrick, was told about the room situation, & he came to the room irritatedly, was dressed in a thin robe, t-shirt, shorts, & house slippers, asked about the microwave and left. Later, we went to lye down & I began to get bit. I discovered bugs, appearing to be flees in the bed. We went to the front desk, told Patrick we could not stay in the room, he called someone and said "she" would be there in a minute, I asked who "she" was, and he irrately told us leave.
