We were surprised to be a given a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was very spacious and had a separate bedroom. Very comfortable large sized bed, nice toiletries. Room was spacious, clean, and comfy with a cute art deco style, cool books, huge bathtub, and charming balcony to take in the sights of Paris. The staff were so kind and helpful, offering free champagne for the New Year’s celebration and ordering our dinner for us from Maison Edgar next door. It’s also super close to the metro for easy access to anywhere you need to go in the city. I don’t usually stay at the same hotel when I travel because I like to try new things out but I think we’ll have to make an exception here and stay at Hotel Aiglon again. It was just that good!

The hotel is ideally placed for walking to the Seine, via Jardin du Luxembourg and Bld St Michel. The hotel itself was super-clean and cosy.
