I couldn't contact with them using their phone number. It was through messenger that I could ask about transportation service. They charge 35€ to pick you up from the airport, so I decided to use public transport. The staff do not speak English, it is difficult to communicate with them. I spent New Year's Eve with a group of people I met, and coming back to the hotel I found it was closed. The man that came to open looked at his watch and gave me a judging look, very unprofessional. The toilet was dirty the first day and I had to ask for someone to clean it. That was the only cleaning they did. The room wasn't cleaned for 4 days, and I told them from the second day that they should do it. My room was okay but noisy (the hotel is situated in a busy street very well connected with public transport). Breakfast is what you can expect, it is nice to explore the city having eaten something. However, there is not enough space in the dining room and once I had to share table with an unknown person, either a worker from the hotel or a member of the family's owner. I paid before going through Expedia (flight hotel), and when doing the check out one of the workers told me to pay for the 6 nights (again?). I stayed for 1 week and I wouldn't recommend HamzaBey hotel. If you organise yourself and can visit Istanbul in less than 1 week, book a better hotel for 2-3 nights. It will be the best option.
