The hotel is just opposite the Dublin City Council side, facing the River Liffey, making it easy to remember. It's also just a few meters from the medieval Christ Church Cathedral, which is also within spitting distance of St Patrick's Cathedral. This historic hotel had been upgraded with modern bathrooms & amenities. No A/C, but a fan and a water percolator are provided. There's also a big glass bottle with water provided & you could refill it from the cold water dispenser in the main alleys where your rooms are located. No need to buy bottled water for needs! Hot and cold water pressure are great. Most bathrooms in Europe have a fixed shower glass that covers only half of the stall, which causes water to splash outside. Use towels to prevent a slippery floor, and dry them out in the heated towel hanger (there's a main switch for it). Bring UK adapters for all your gadgets, as some AC outlets have only USB-A ports, which are not compatible with newer USB-C devices. Rooms lack tables when eating your take-out goodies. There were only 3 clothes hangers. But there's also a safe, coffee maker (pods are Nespresso but different, so ask at the front desk). Elevators are small, but their WiFi is quick. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area of Temple Bar, so there's no frenzy to alight or get to your rides. Finally, for quick & delicious meals, get them at the Copper Alley Bistro, part of the Harding Hotel, just a few feet up Fishamble St. Forget Mario's Takeaway!
