First off this is a quiet, quaint, peaceful place that is a bit whimsical and boutique like. The lake is beautiful and the little town is cute with the little restaurants and shops. The room was very clean. The negatives are the parking. You cannot park next to where the rooms are, the lot is reserved for other properties so you have to park on the opposite end of the building where you need a different key to enter, but they do not give you that key so that’s an issue. The beds are very uncomfortable. They need to be replaced because there are large dips in the middle of them from overuse. The food that is offered is just “okay”, it is nothing special. The best items were the pot stickers and the cheese curds. The Social and the Tiki bar both were just adequate. There were about 20-30 bees at the different tables at the tiki bar which is sort of an issue. Two of us were stung. The bathrooms at the outdoor pool are very dirty and if you want to shower post lake or pool there, good luck because the water pressure isn’t more than a sprinkle. The pools are heated and the hot tub is a nice temperature. The staff was not the most helpful, I felt like a bit of an inconvenience at times. The bartender at the social was drinking the entire time we were there which is whatever, but he was mixing up drinks and making things incorrectly. The office staff were the most helpful and pleasant of the entire property.
