Everything seemed dirty. The room had clear issues, carpet needed vacuumed, corners of bathroom had collected dirt or mold, the door stop had growth and hair on the tile. The shower head was nasty, toilet didn’t flush well, sink didn’t drain and door wouldn’t shut all the way. Common hallways needed cleaning. Pool was nasty. Breakfast needed help.

The guy at front desk was very rude. We called to ask the pet fee and we were given wrong price. When we reached there, we asked about it and the first reply from the front desk (I think he was manager) was, Do you need it or not?? I was like I am just asking and he said check online and all. Overall ok hotel. Didn’t even do breakfast and left asap in the morning.

Quality Inn Conveniently located off the highway. Adequate parking. However…. The ratings, reviews and pictures were astonishingly inaccurate. I did not experience the 8 star rating that this hotel has. The lobby was clean and night manager was pleasant. However there was wear and tear EVERYWHERE- paint was chipped and peeling off of the walls, it smelled musty and when we got to our room, the gray comforters on each of our beds had dark stains, looked like grease. The cream colored walls had yellow stains dripping down the walls. The metal bases of the lamps were rusty. The lamp shades were stained with yellow and orange spots. The pool had chunks of plaster missing from the bottom. The walls in the pool room were bubbling and peeling off. Floors were dirty with dust and dead bugs along the bottom of the walls and corners. The pool furniture was janky- even one of the small, cheap plastic tables had been repaired with glue and screws. Breakfast was just ok. They had powdered, rehydrated scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy and waffles. Juice, milk and coffee.

Let's start with the positive, the beds were magnificent! So comfy and the room was very clean. Now for the down side, the hotel itself is sort of falling apart. The breakfast was just so-so. And the room walls were paper thin. The staff was amazing though.

The first room we were given had a busted spot of the wall below the window that was moldy. We were imediately moved to another room.The room smelled damp but was clean. The pool was heated and felt amazing. The breakfast in the morning was a normal hotel breakfast. Had plenty of options. Could have been better for the price or cheaper for the quality that you're getting.

Unexpected Event Cancellation

Our event was canceled due to rain and I used Hotels.com message system to see if Quality Inn would let us reschedule our stay. No one ever got back to us. Lesson learned, book hotels that care about customer’s that have unexpected change of plans.

Did not eat breakfast. Parking was decent. While the sink and bathroom were clean, the room smelled musty and stale. Likely the carpet and the upholstered chair. Thought about asking for a different room, but the front desk guy didn’t seem too friendly. He did handle my check in ok. It did the job for a one nighter
