Not so much a hotel more a self serve guest house. Very quiet location with good directions provided by the host prior to stay, no problems finding it or parking. Bed was huge and very comfortable but very basic rooms.kitchen and dining area very well equipped, croissants and rolls left in the freezer to cook for breakfast, tea coffee milk etc provided. Very quirky house !
Bathroom is separate not sure if it’s private or communal as the hotel was empty when we arrived. Bathroom was in need of updating, taps very tarnished, shower head was powerful but sprayed everywhere so had to hold it, toilet was right on top of the shower cubicle which I personally didn’t like and towel rail right over the top of it . Bathroom taps only worked on the shower setting. No hand soap provided, one small towel each was provided. No extractor fan or ability to leave a window open so became very damp.
Doors, handles and locks were very squeaky/creaky and noisy if trying to sleep. Outside table and chairs provided on a communal balcony but in need of repainting.
Could do with more lighting on entering the house and stairway can be a bit dangerous if no lights on.
Couldn’t connect to WiFi but all sorted after speaking to the host.
Good value for money despite the few cons and perfect location if using the surrounding area for activities.
