Good room but Laticia is rude
I paid for a room off of Hotels.com, so I didn't think that I needed to have my physical card checking in.(first time and last time going through this)The reason I didn't have my physical card was because I had lost it a week earlier and it didn't come in that mailed yet. So Upon checking in, the new receptionist lady was very very nice, kind and professional but when she called her Supervisor Laticia to help. Laticia was very rude, arrogant, condescending, rolling her eyes, she lacked empathy, was very dry acting. I felt like she was trying to get an reaction out if me. I asked how can we resolve the issue, I pulled up my digital wallet from my bank, she said we dont accept that. she said your going to have to cancel your reservation. So I waited in the lobby for about 2 and a half hours reserching to see how can I get this resolved because I couldn't cancel may reservation. Laticia kept constantly laughing almost in an antagonising way. But I kept it calm thinking maybe Im reading too much into this. I understand that people have to do their job. I'm never rude to people who work in customer service especially if they are kind and trying to do their job. because I've worked in customer service for many years so I understand what people go through. I ended up getting the issue resolved, my boss helped me because we were there on business. In the process of her interaction with him she was very rude and dry acting to him as well.
