"I’m currently staying at the Amarina Jannah, and with my vacation coming to an end soon, I couldn’t leave without sharing how grateful I am for this experience.
1- lifeguards who were Always alert, always attentive and even when some guests pushed the limits in the deep water, you stayed calm, professional, and focused on everyone’s safety.
2- all they day it doesn't matter where we were in the resort I always found someone smiling and asking if they could help. and check to make sure we’re comfortable and have everything we need.
3- The food experience was excellent and matches all tastes. The three specialty restaurants — Oriental, Italian, and Indian were absolutely lovely. I enjoyed every meal.
4- The sunbeds were one of my personal favourites. The built-in sun shades were perfect
5- Check-in was faster than expected, our room was prepared perfectly every day, and there were food and snacks available almost all day long. Plus, every day came with a new festival on the beach
6- And finally, it’s the small details that make this place feels like home. The beautiful selection of paintings, the genuine hospitality from every staff member, and the way everyone works together as one family.
Even the terrace with its beautiful view became my favourite spot for morning coffee.
I hope I didn't miss any thing
I would definitely come back without a second thought, i didn't leave yet and i am already planning for my next one and I truly hope it always exceeds the already "
"The staff are amazing, they are so friendly and would do anything for you.
The food and drink was good too.
A little disappointed with the rooms, as we requested seaview rooms. We were at the back of the hotel, with a bit of a look at the sea, and up on the 2nd floor. I am glad it was only 2 days, as my dad wouldn't of coped there, for any longer, walking a distance and u up 3 flights of stairs.
But overall it was a fantastic stay. "
"Really amazing hotel! I would recommend this 100% if you’re looking to stay in a hotel that offers great food, great entertainment and overall a great experience. They had things that stood out to us like gluten free bread!!! It’s not a common thing to have in Egypt so this was great to see. They also catered for lactose intolerance. They had a thing you scan where it has all the info you need instead of the typical paper print hotels usually give out. The food was good and with a lot of varieties and uniqueness. The view of the sea was amazing although the beach isn’t the best but that’s common in many hotels in Egypt. The rooms were clean and modern. The pools were clean too! They had an adult area with tons of fun games by the pool which was very unique
The only negative thing was I wish they served actually Pepsi/cola and not the fake one they serve because it tasted bad. I also wish they had more mocktail options in the pool bars to enjoy! "
Steigenberger Resort Alaya - Adults Friendly 16 Years Plus
10/10 Excellent
"Excellence service, great food, but alcohol drink seems to be diluted with water that comes with very low alcohol content. Great accessibility to sea with lots of sea life around, love this place overall."
"The hotel facilities were good, rooms are clean but you can forget about the beach.
Although i checked in online and gave the approximate arrival's time, the room was not prepared for the number of persons booked, we had to wait for the bed and towels for the 3rd person and even had to call after waiting for more than an hour.
The only person who gave us once a smile during the stay, was one of the housekeepers !!
Honestly, the whole staff needs to be trained.
The food and beverage department needs to be reformed from top to bottom, urgently.
I know, that you get what you pay for, but that's not the accor group standards i used to know."
