I've stayed here a couple of time's for work functions but this time, booked it myself.
Sadly, the hotel is outdated and relies on its reputation as being a spa to attract regular business people staying over.
I had hoped to makke use of the leisure facilities but didnt feel very well.
When i went to the toilet in tbe room, it had a brown mark on tbe toilet seat which i was able to wipe away but no guesding what it was. Time was against me, so no time to go down to reception and complain.
I looked everywhere for some water and some milk to make a cuppa but nothing in the room.
I later went out for tea and then when i returned, thought, shall i say anything re the toilet seat but decided against it as there were other guests there. I did ask about the water and milk and was told that it was self service in the corridors. Not what you expect for 4 star.
The bed was really comfy so thankful i had a good sleep but felt left down.
