Wonderful place to stay, clean spacious rooms, balcony was nice, staff was very nice, breakfast was a little lacking with options but it wasn’t bad. We will stay here again! Also pet friendly, which was an added plus for us.

Beachfront Hotel in Houghton Lake is a very nice and clean hotel right on the south shore of the lake. Everything was great. Loved the coffee in the lobby, offered all day, but breakfast is really only carbs. We only looked one day so it may change. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and helpful, and the room was very clean and spacious. The balcony needs a little bit more attention but the lake view was great. Overall we can recommend the hotel.

The room was cleaned, the first room we had on the second floor, the rug was soggy wet, so we moved to the first floor to a king size bed but had a walk in shower where the first room had a tub shower. It was perfect.
