My recent stay at was not just disappointing, it was genuinely shocking, disgusting, and borderline hazardous. The room we were in should have never been rented out in this appalling state.
Management Knew and Failed to Act
The issues began with a noticeable, foul smell of mold and mildew the moment we walked in. The management clearly knew about this health hazard, as there were multiple air fresheners hanging throughout the room in a pathetic attempt to mask the odor instead of addressing the source of the contamination.
We contacted the front desk in the evening and spoke to an attendant who promised to speak with the manager about switching our room or providing a solution. No one ever came to our room, called us, or followed up with any options whatsoever. This confirmed the hotel's complete lack of care and disrespect for guest safety.
Unsanitary and Damaged Room Conditions
The physical condition of the room was just as horrifying:
Flooded, Contaminated Showers: The shower curtain rod was half-ripped off the wall, creating an approximately two-foot gap. Worse, the tub did not drain at all. Every time we showered, the filthy water, mixed with visible residue from the previous guest (on the tub floor/walls), rose up over our feet. We were standing in a pool of contaminated water—a severe health risk.
Broken Toilet: The toilet seat was broken and loose, shifting dangerously to the right or left every time someone sat on it.
