2/10 Poor

I had called earlier to check in late. But when I arrived at the hotel, there was no body at front desk to check me in. I had to call another hotel to book at room at 4:00 AM !!!

2/10 Poor

Please understand that I have to rate of the hotel room cleanliness and staff as poor. I was unable to stay in the room. The problem was because there was not a manager or staff on duty. It was only a maintenance man on duty. The manager left, apparently because the night with slow. And left she a maintenance man in charge. I did not have a room. I was exhausted. The corporation did not know at this time that the hotel was under any type of construction.. Save your money. And do not go to this hotel.

The nastiness of there being bedbugs, smell of cigarettes in the hotel, and how it look like a ram shag of people sitting at the walkway.

Ok for the price

The staff was very friendly, but the building needs a lot of maintenance. The shower head was hanging off the wall & there was an odor in our room that I couldn't place.

The staff was very nice. The room I was in had hair on the sink and the floor. The floor look as it wasn’t vacuum. Someone earring or necklace paper was on the sink. The bed looks as someone slept on the bedspread. The bed needs replacing or flip over or something. It is worn out.

Black Mold on bathroom ceiling, Phone cord cut with a knife, dirty, bugs crawling out when lights turned off. Possible human trafficking site. Was supposed to stay 2 nights and only stayed one. Would not recommend staying here!

Requested an accessible room because my son is on a wheel chair. The one accessible room was dirty at 10pm when I came to sign for keys. So Jasmine gave me a second floor elevator not working and room had a full size top mattress on top of a king size frame. We decided not to stay another day in Raleigh.

Bad Experience

When I was asked to look at the room before I checked in should have been the red flag but I ignored that, once I was in the room I noticed that it was a smoking room, not because of the smell but because there were ashes in the bathroom sink, and front desk well lets just say they were rarely visible there. I don't usually do things like this but I am sure that this site needs a whole new face lift if that make any sense. I will take pictures next time I run across any shenanigans like that in the future, i left the room messier than normal to make sure housekeeping actually cleaned up everything going forward, I used to work in hotels a while back but never thought I would run into such bad service from Days Inn

The first room I was given was not cleaned. Dirty towels, bed not made, etc. the second room looked like the bathroom had not been cleaned in months. I also had to step over a hose that was emptying water from the housekeeping room thru a window unto the street. I would assume this was some form of violation. My daughter was in the hospital and I needed a room to crash in for the night. I should have slept in my car.

Great location downtown, the front staff is very cordial and the registration/breakfast area has been well maintained. HOWEVER, the rooms have not had the same amount of care. In my particular room, the wall art was missing with only the hangers still present, electrical outlets were not working, plastic wrapping was still around box frames for the beds, the spread on one bed had a tear in it. Exterior entry stairs did not have working safety lighting.

Not good for allergies or standards

Not bad overall. Staff was friendly and check in was quick. They will charge your card an amount equal to the amount of the bill for incidentals. Will come off after a few days, so Keep that in mind. The area seemed a little sketchy and the room needed a major renovation. Telephone cord was cut, furniture and fixtures were old and worn. Bed was too firm for me but my associate was comfortable. Blanket was thin and kinda gross feeling. The worst thing was the large amount of mold growing on the bathroom ceiling.

It was a decent room, but I was awakened at 3 a.m. by loud and violent neighbors. They went at it for several hours.

Despite being a non-smoking hotel it smelled straight out of the 80s everywhere in the building

Great location for price

Flew in to Raleigh on a whim. The Inn isn't glamorous by any means but it's location and price greatly makes up for it. Morning staff is great but night staff not so much. Asia was one of the morning staff and she was very accommodating and welcoming.

Do not stay here

Absolutely awful. Dirty, smelly and holes in sheets. Can’t believe this place hasn’t been shut down.

Front desk was indifferent, almost unfriendly. Was required to authorize a card for entire amount although room had already been paid for thus tying up another $81 for a week. Smell of weed was overpowering.

The only redeeming factor for this hotel was the staff. They were very friendly. The rooms smelled terrible. The wallpaper was falling off, there was black mold in the bathroom. The room floors looked like a murder scene. The hall carpet was so wet from some leak that it literally squished when you walked on it. The “included” breakfast consisted of a do it yourself waffle maker and a airpot of coffee. 1 morning they did have microwaveable omlets available. All other drink machines or food containers had hand written signs saying “no juice or milk available today. Sorry for the inconvenience “ all 3 mornings I was there.

The property was not securely kept locked at the hallway, there were parties allowed to be going on with marijuana being smoked all night long, it was all we could smell up and down the hallways and into our room. It was so strong the first night we were there it made me throw up. The A/C unit was coming off the wall, you can literally see through to the outside around the edge pf the unit - it's like an inch wide gap in places. There were fast food NAPKINS in our tissue dispenser, rather than tissues. This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed and I will not be back and I will let everyone I know not to stay there next year when we are in town for that same event.
