My family and I stayed here recently and enjoyed several aspects of the hotel. The location is peaceful, great for relaxing, and the grounds are well kept. The room was spacious, with two comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen — perfect for families. We appreciated being able to enjoy the outdoor grill, and the staff we interacted with were generally kind and welcoming.
However, given the night rate, I expected more consistency in cleanliness and service recovery. On the first night, we found several hairs in the bathtub/shower area and immediately informed the front desk. We were told housekeeping was unavailable at that hour, but the issue would be addressed the next morning. Unfortunately, when we returned to the room the next afternoon, the bathroom was still in the same condition — despite the room having been serviced. I had to call again before a very polite housekeeper came to clean the area properly.
While the staff member who came to clean was wonderful, the only compensation offered by management was a complimentary popsicle for my young nephew. This felt disproportionate to the inconvenience, especially since it required multiple requests to resolve. I believe that with greater attention to detail and a more proactive approach from management, the guest experience here could easily match the Hilton standard.
