What a magical hotel and it felt like we stepped back in time. Sadly we only spent one night and it was so comfortable. Great breakfast buffet and service was so friendly. Front desk was so helpful with our car parking. Drove up to the front door and a valet drove it to a parking spot. Easy walk to every thing in Cortona. Restaurants and shopping in less than 30 seconds from front door. Room was so comfortable. Room did not have a tea kettle but the cappuccino at breakfast was delicious Great place to stay and would love to visit again

Charming hotel and convenient to the center. Be sure to reserve a taxi ahead of time as getting there on foot by bus with luggage is an experience. Very friendly staff and plenty of lovely spaces to lounge in. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed several times at Hotel San Michele and it is consistently clean, quiet, great value with amazing staff. Their family rooms are brilliant with two separate spaces (and air con!) and breakfast is superb with excellent choices. We will be back!

Amazing location, extremely helpful staff, staff spoke perfect English, so it made communications super easy. I would say your bed pillows are more like seat cushions and hard as rocks.
