We stayed here 4 nights with our toddler and it was the perfect stay for kids as the kids club is really well designed and really thoughtfully built for kids. Special thanks to Maja at Mirami club, she was so sweet and kind. Exceptional experience for our 3-year old. The amenities in the hotel is okay in general, think it can be much more in the summer season as the pools and beach is very nice. The indoor pool area could use some renovation. The first room we checked in to was a complete disaster with the amenities, sizing and shape of the room, air conditioning and some other issues, but the front desk was willing to help us to another room which changed the course of our holiday completely. The only downside of our stay would definitely be the food. The buffet is big but the inclusivity of the content is not at a 4 star level. For non-pork and vegetarian eaters it can be a challenge to find dinner options as everything is very mixed together and the information is very limited on what the dish actually contains. Otherwise the service level was good.

Struttura meglio delle aspettative. Camera piccola ma si deve solo dormire. Ottimo buffet colazione e cena. Peccato per l’acqua non inclusa. Bella spiaggia e prezzo accettabile per noleggio ombrellone/lettini. Bella piscina della struttura con ombrelloni ed asciugamani gratis. Ottima la SPA e la palestra all’interno della struttura. Alla sera musica dal vivo sia in spiaggia che nelle struttura anche se il prezzo dei cocktail un po’ alti. Molto bello il paese a pochi minuti a piedi (Novigrad/Cittanova) con la possibilità di prenotare escursioni in barca. Nel complesso una buona vacanza adatta alla famiglia. La consiglio se si vuole avere tutto nella stessa struttura. Voto 8/10

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und die Anlage insgesamt ist modern und sehr ansprechend. Allerdings war die Reisezeit für meine Erwartungen an einen erholsamen Urlaub leider nicht ideal. Das Resort war extrem voll, da nicht nur die Hotelgäste die Einrichtungen nutzen können, sondern sich auch andere Arten von Unterkünften auf dem Gelände befinden. Dadurch konnte man die eigentlich sehr schönen Einrichtungen leider kaum genießen. Der Pool war ständig überfüllt, und die Liegestühle waren bereits früh am Morgen fast vollständig mit Handtüchern reserviert und wurden den ganzen Tag über blockiert. Auch der Strand war extrem voll. Was ich außerdem sehr enttäuschend fand, war, dass praktisch alles separat bezahlt werden musste. Bei einem Preis von fast 300 Euro pro Nacht finde ich das nicht wirklich nachvollziehbar und hätte zumindest bei einigen Leistungen erwartet, dass sie im Preis inbegriffen sind. Insgesamt ist es ein wirklich schönes und modernes Hotel mit einer tollen Lage. Ich würde es allerdings eher außerhalb der Hauptsaison empfehlen, wenn deutlich weniger Gäste da sind – idealerweise vielleicht nur halb so viele wie während meines Aufenthalts. Dann kann man die Anlage und die angebotenen Einrichtungen sicherlich viel besser genießen.

Die Unterkunft war sauber. Das Zimmer war für ein Superior Zimmer sehr klein und der Meerblick war eher ein seitlicher Meerblick. Beim Buffet gab es eine umfangreiche Auswahl. Das Essen war großteils sehr wenig gewürzt, aber es war alles frisch! Das Angebot an Sportgeräten zum Ausleihen war groß und die Qualität gut. Größter Minuspunkt war das Checkout. Offensichtlich war bekannt, dass ganze Gruppen an dem Tag auschecken würden. Es waren 2 Rezeptionisten am Arbeiten. Wir haben eine Stunde auf das Checkout gewartet und daneben stand das restliche Personal und hat zugesehen. Das hat das Urlaubserlebnis im Nachhinein noch getrübt.

Schönes Hotel mit allem was man braucht für eine erholsame Urlaubswoche. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und auch die Sauberkeit in der ganzen Hotelanlage muß man erwähnen. Novigrad ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in der Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Hotel in gepflegter Gartenanlage mit Pool und direkt am Meer. Hervorragendes Essen vom Buffet. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Nette sehr saubere Zimmer. Freundliches Personal.Einziger Vermuthstropfen man muß so für einiges Extra bezahlen z.b Liegen am Meer und alles was im Gameroom zum spielen ist Ansonsten ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Kommen gerne wieder.

De kamer is proper. Het zetelbed voor een 3e persoon is ok maar zeker niet luxueus. Consumpties zijn prijzig. Het is er overal zeer druk (augustus). Klein zwembad en de stoelen worden al extreem vroeg gereserveerd met handdoeken. Strandstoelen zijn betalend.

A lot of potential, but fell short for us...

First the positive: this is a fine hotel with nice facilities and nice beach access within walking distance of Novigrad center. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Good spa / gym. The staff really try to be helpful - and they were helpful with several requests. Now the negative - our room was dirty when we arrived - there was a dried blood spot on one duvet cover, there were hairs in the bathroom and an old bar of soap still in the shower. The hairs in the bathroom I noticed when I arrived but since I arrived late at night, I collapsed right to bed and didnt notice the old soap bar until I showered the next day, nor the dirty duvet cover (I noticed it when I started inspecting the room more closely). When I reported these things, the receptionist that dealt with my report was understanding, and sent a cleaning crew to our room right away - but, that doesn't fix how gross it was... and I was not offered any kind of discount or any gesture to offset that our room had not been properly cleaned. When you stay at a four star resort, you do expect a minimum level of comfort, cleanliness, and service. Clearly this place needs to focus more on the cleanliness. I can say this is true because after the cleaning crew had been to the room - they left our dirty glasses there but tipped them over so the lips of the glasses were touching the bathroom counter (not with a paper under) and the old bar of soap... so, pretty much they just changed the bedding I guess... communication issues?

Wir haben spontan 3 Nächte im Juli gebucht. Die Fotos schauen ja alle sehr schön aus, außerdem wir eine 4-Sterne-Anlage versprochen. Das Zimmer: Wir wurden anscheinend auf ein Balkonzimmer geupgradet. Das hat leider nicht viel gebracht, sowohl Balkon als auch Zimmer sind leider sehr sehr klein. Mann kann nicht aneinander vorbeigehen wenn man. z. B. vom Bett ins Bad möchte. Das Bett war sauber, auf dem Hocker am Schreibtisch war leider ein deutlicher Fleck. Die Sauberkeit im Bad ist am schlechtesten, sehr viel Kalkflecken und Schimmel. Auch das Bad ist sehr klein, man hat eigentlich keinen Platz zu zweit. Die Anlage: Eine sehr in die Jahre gekommene Anlage bei der Versucht wurde mehr schlecht als recht die Fassade zu wahren. In den meisten Fluren sind die Wände dreckig oder die Farbe splittet ab. Den hoteleigenen Pool haben wir nicht besucht weil hier eigentlich nur Kinder waren. Es gibt ein Fitnessstudio das zur Hälfte als 30 Jahre alten Geräten und zur Hälfte aus ganz neuen Geräten besteht. Pro: Man bekommt ein Handtuch wenn man hingeht. Ansonsten dominieren Familien mit Kindern die Anlage, wirklich ruhig oder entspannend ist es nirgends. Meer und Außenanlagen: Die Strände sind öffentlich, dementsprechend sind auch überall Kinder und Familien. Das wär ansich kein Problem, es wird aber teils anders damit geworben. Der in den Bilden dargestellte Infinity-Pool liegt am Meer, dort sind mehr Kinder als Erwachsene, Ruhe hat man gar keine. Zusätzlich gibt es am Vormittag ein

We were on honeymoon. On our arrival at the hotel we were greeted with a frosty welcome and it appeared that they didn't have any record of our booking. We were left waiting for about 45mins,without anyone telling us what was happening, even when I asked several times. Luckily my wife had a copy of the Expedia itinerary on her to prove it was a confirmed booking. Once we had finally been checked in and given our room key, I mentioned it was our honeymoon as we had put it on our booking, hoping to be spoilt a little and all we got was "yes I just read that" no congratulations and no being made to feel special. So we went to our room where we got more disappointed, it wasn't a 4star standard double more like a 3star. Very basic, unwelcoming and mould around the shower cubical. Not a room you want to spend time in as newly weds. It was given a very basic clean each day and we didn't get the info pack in our room till 3 days before leaving! The free high speed wifi was terrible in the hotel but great by the pool and beach, just where you need it....NOT! The rest of the hotel facilities were pretty good especially for kids. The pool was ok but dirty on last day with stuff floating in it. The buffet breakfast and dinners were good with plenty of choice, although they do like their salt! We just didn't enjoy the hustle and bustle from the other guests, not many manners!! We would definitely go to Croatia again as it's beautiful but wouldn't stay in The Maestral Hotel again.
