My 1st room the lights went on/off by themselves constantly. They had repair men come but after 20min, they were still there and I wanted to get settled so I switched rooms. In the 2nd room I found the pillows too big so I pulled the comforter off the 2nd twin(that was pushed together to make a king) to fold lightly u Dee my head-when I got up in the AM, I saw that bed had blood & glitter(which I photographed). Gross. I had to ask that something would be done as compensation because-gross. They moved me for a 3rd time so my 3day stay was certainly not relaxing as I had hoped

Way over the top.

The place has excellent service. Nice people around. Other than that, I would go for better properties around the area. We stayed in a suite. The decor is extravagant and not well planned. The pool is right outside the rooms which takes away the privacy and you need to don the curtain when inside. That does not take away the noise and chatter of the outside. The food was more North Indian than local. The flavours were nice but the bread not fresh. I would not go back again.

We had an amazing two nights at Kaldan Samudhra! Amazing property, with excellent service. Santu in the restaurant took amazing care of us. But all the staff was very friendly and attentive. One of them even noticed that my son was reading a book and brought him a bookmark. The food was very good and the pool and amenities (gym, rec room) were fantastic as well. We will certainly plan a trip back here!

Right from check in, all the way until we left, we were really taken good care of. Staff was extremely friendly, professional and always treated with a smile. Dinner at Dhani was excellent and the breakfast was outstanding, the best we have ever had. The performance by the Rajasthani troupe was amazing and set the tone for the evening. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience!! Could give 10 stars if option available.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, lots of complementary drinks and food (high tea/mini bar), pool is excellent and very clean. Excellent air con, rooms are massive and kept very clean. Food very good and good variety, nice mocktails. Would highly recommend, best 5 star hotel I have stayed at so far. Only very small comment would be that service for food was a little slow at lunch time and the bar seems a bit of a waste of space - I never saw anyone in it, we would have gone in to sit and play cards or something in the evening but we were not allowed as we had a baby. If they made it a seating place for all, I think it would be used more.

The staff and service were wonderful here. The food was enjoyable and the rooms were clean and spacious and beds super-comfortable. Shout-out to several staff members, including Nithin, Rajesh, Tina, Ruby, Vaidegi, Duraiswamy, Bidyut, Buddhadev, Priti, Chef Ahmad, among others. We traveled with my elderly mother-in-law and found some basic things hard to navigate, accessibility-wise. There were stairs and ramps in several places including towards the pool, to get to the rooms, and to go to the beach. These did not have any railings or support for people who might need it--elderly, very young, pregnant women, disabled people, or people who might have injuries. The ramps were not easy to climb up and the 'ramp' from the pathway to the beach to the main hotel area was long, roundabout and the same route for cars and lorries, which is dangerous. In the rooms, the towel racks and hooks were too high to reach for an average Indian height (not sure who these were designed for) and the clothing line over the tub was also hard to reach with plenty of danger to the guest who would try. It's too bad that so much money was spent on the look and little note given to the actual usability. Finally, we arrived at the end of a conference and left as preparations for 2 weddings. This meant that the pathway to the beach was dirty and unattractive as teardown and setup were happening. This definitely detracted from the experience.

We stayed only for a day (5th Dec) and checked out on 6th Dec. There was an event happening that week due to which beach area dining was cordoned off. The room that we stayed in - water was logging in the bath cubicle and at one stage it started to enter the living room! We took a family photo (complimentary provided by Hotel) which was not given to us when we checked out. After following up for two days finally it was sent to my WhatsApp and the original was sent by courier to my home address. It was not a great experience for the price paid!

Made us feel like royalty

This hotel was amazing. Beautiful property. And above all, every single staff member treated us like a King and Queen. They went above and beyond to ensure our experience was the best can be.

Hinweis für alle Allergiker und Personen mit Atemwegserkrankungen - die gesamten Grünanlagen werden regelmäßig (roulierend) mit Insektiziden gespritzt. Es war zu beobachten, dass es in der Folge zu Atemwegsproblemen / Augenjucken bei Gästen kam, auch wenn man sich erst nach Stunden in diese Bereiche begab. Medikamente also nicht vergessen! Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen! Wunderschön! Wochentags total leer - über viele Stunden ganz allein im Pool. Erst ab Freitags kamen einheimische Gäste / Familien. Es ist kein Badestrand - Unterströmung mit starkem Wellengang. Wandern am Strand - naja… nicht so romantisch, da außerhalb der Anlage nicht aufgeräumt. Aber ist ja klar, den Anspruch darf man nicht haben, wenn man in diese Region fährt.
