Disappointing First and Likely Last Stay at Hilton
We checked in late at night and unfortunately had to change rooms twice—though it really should have been three times. The first room had hair and false lashes in the shower, which was unacceptable. The second room had a leaking AC unit that left the carpet soaked and emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. By the time we were placed in a third room, we were too exhausted to move again, even though the bathroom sink was visibly damaged and had been poorly patched together.
While the staff was helpful and did their best to accommodate us, the overall experience fell far short of our expectations—especially for what’s considered a reputable brand. This was our first time staying at a Hilton, and unfortunately, it will likely be our last. We’ll stick with Marriott, where we consistently receive the service and quality we’ve come to rely on.
On a positive note, the hotel’s location was excellent—conveniently close to dining, shopping, and major highways. Sadly, that alone wasn’t enough to make up for the issues we encountered.
