Definitely not a 4* hotel. Not sure why it's rated such.
Facilities are basic. Room has weird metal cross on it, if anything, it's very dangerous from health and safety perspective. Requested for room change, was denied.
But the staff make up for it. Barring one man, everyone was very polite and extremely helpful. Particularly the two ladies, one French, one Italian (apologies don't know their names), were very considerate, gave lots of advice on places to visit, restaurants etc. Very positive experience that.
Location is fine, can get a bit too quiet and full of noisy youngsters in the night. But good for runs and walks during the day.
