The hotel has some definite positives, including a good Italian-style breakfast, convenient parking right outside, and a fairly fresh and pleasant pool area. However, the overall experience was a bit disappointing. The room felt quite dated, with old-fashioned furnishings and wall-to-wall carpeting that made is feel less fresh than expected.
More importantly, communication was a problem. We tried to contact the hotel through the Hotels.com app more than once before our arrival, specifically to clarify arrangements for our one-year-old daughter and her cot, but received no response. This lack of communication directly led to problems upon arrival, when we were unexpectedly charged an additional €11 per night for the cot. This fee had never been communicated to us beforehand, and had we received a response to our messages before arrival, the issue could easily have been avoided. The unexpected charge therefore felt particularly frustrating and rather sneaky to be honest.
Overall, there are some good facilities and positives, but the dated rooms, poor communication and the resulting unexpected extra charge mean that the stay did not feel like particularly good value for money.
