When I arrived at 4:30am after a delayed flight, it looked like reception was closed. There was someone inside but the lights were out. Then they showed me to my room which at the time I said was ok - sort of - as I just wanted sleep. I only slept 4 hours as the room was very dirty on closer inspection and the mattress was so old the springs were sticking into me. When I got up and got dressed I realised the mattress was moldy too.
I went to reception and asked to change rooms. I should have just left to another hotel. They gave me another room that was slightly better.but still in disrepair like tiles coming off the wall and a dirty bathroom. When I asked about the restaurant as breakfast was included, they told me there was no restaurant as they were renovating.
It was noisy, constant hammering, street noise, etc. Bad wifi, unfriendly staff. It was like they just wanted us to leave. When I left I felt like I was the only guest and the staff just seemed to look at me all the time but not offer any help. I asked them to help me get my bag to another hotel and they didn't try very hard. In the end I walked. It is nothing like the website and I wouldn't stay there maybe unless you are a local and a man.
