While the place was clean and conveniently located to where I had to be, it lacked: 1. An elevator 2. I was asked for payment both at check in and check out, even though I had prepaid via Expedia before arriving at this hotel. 3. I was given a room in the attic, and with my height of 1.77m, it was quite challenging to take showers right under the sloped ceiling. 4. Hotel didn’t have parking so it was a chore to find an available spot where to load and unload the luggage.

I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einem gemütlichen und geräumigen Zimmer. Die Lage des Hotels in der Altstadt war sehr schön. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant, das zum Hotel gehört ist übrigens auch zu empfehlen.

Experiencia fantástica

Um hotel em uma charmosa cidade, com uma história que reúne a Alemanha, Holanda e Brasil. O hotel possui quartos com personalidade única e de muito bom gosto. São poucas unidades, por isso o atendimento é muito bom. O prédio não possui elevador, dificultando o acesso com bagagens pesadas ou alguma limitação física. Os quartos não possuem frigobar. O quarto tem bom isolamento acústico, e o que vai ouvir pela madrugada pode ser o lindo canto de pássaros antecedendo o raiar do sol. O restaurante em que é servido o café da manhã, diria que possui pratos produzem experiências que ficam na memória de quem tiver o privilégio de experimentar. Pretendo voltar e ficar umas duas noites, para poder aproveitar mais a cidade e a região, e principalmente a experiência gastronômica do Liebezeite.

Wir haben uns in dem alten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer viel Gepäck hat, sollte umpacken oder nach einem Zimmer weiter unten fragen. Die Zimmer sind super sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück phantastisch. Wir haben auch abends hier gegessen und waren begeistert. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist das WLan. Das war zumindest in unserem Zimmer nicht gut.

Das Hotel (mit Restaurant) ist sehr schön gelegen (Altstadt). Das Hotel passt selbst dazu. Dadurch ist es etwas verwinkelt und die Zimmer recht klein. Die Möbel sind sehr einfach gehalten aber funktional. Man könnte bezüglich dem Zustand etwas aufmerksamer sein, uns kleine Defekte einfach mal instand setzen, was de Sache einen professionelleren Eindruck vermitteln würde. Das Restaurant ist ein TAPAS Restaurant. Das Essen war gut (der Coktail leider nicht so ganz..., es wurde aber auch nicht gefragt, warum man ihn nur halb getrunken zurück gibt...). Das Personal bemüht und freundlich, aber nicht "Hoteltypisch " (eher "Restauranttypisch"). Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, der Kaffee gut und heiß :-). Im Sommer sicher eine nette Location um draußen zu sitzen. Gerne wieder.
