Peaceful paradise

The hotel is right on the water with the restaurant, pool and sandy areas right at waters edge. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the one at the hotel. And there are plenty of things to do close by like snorkeling, Virgin Beach and Water Temples. The spa is excellent and the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful.

This is a clean beautiful resort on the sea. You can book a boat for snorkelling from the beach. The buffet breakfast is great. You csn reserve taxis very cheaply for the whole day. The internet is fast. The Ac works well. However there is no elevator and it is far from most sites and from the cruise terminal and the airport.

From the moment you arrive through to your final departure, every staff member makes you feel welcomed and valued in a courteous and extremely respectful manner and always with a beautiful smile. Ramayana Candidasa is a quiet and restful haven on beautifully kept tropical surrounds. The restaurant has everything you need with enough choice for your food requirements, or you can get pickup organised from several of the restaurants in town. Candi Dasa in an area of Bali that is still removed from much of the western commercialisation overtaking the south and west so if you are looking for shopping malls and brand name knock offs, and western style coffee shops, pizza and hamburgers then this is not your destination and the reason we still love Candi Dasa.

The grounds of the property are very beautiful & I loved the privacy of the garden bungalow. The resort is remote & the area is very quiet. I enjoyed lazing by the pool. The gym is small, but adequate, & the Sianmay dive shop is just outside the gates.

We liked poolside, and sea views, the quiet gardens at side of property. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean and regularly serviced. Restaurant looks a bit tired and in need of upgrade. Dinner menu needs more dishes not just huge buffets for two. Cocktails need alcoholic content. But we had a great family stay and overall a fantastic, relaxing holiday with a friendly atmosphere. Thanks

Gorgeous property

An absolutely beautiful property overlooking the ocean with a great restaurant/bar, an ample pool, and lovely rooms laid out in garden settings. There is no beach here, and that's a long story that has to do with Bali itself, but nice beaches exist in the vicinity. I can't say enough about how lovely the staff were. Truly charming and welcoming. The town/village is also nice (especially around the lotus pond).

Fantastiskt ställe precis vid havet. Ligger dock lite avsides utan så många andra ställen att kunna gå och äta vilket gör att man känner sig lite fast. De har dock en chaufför som kan hämta kl. 10 och körs tillbaka kl. 12 om man vill utforska annat. Maten var ok, inte fantastisk och ganska dyr. Men som sagt helt underbart läge, fin pool och fina rum.

The service from this hotel was amazing - even from before arrival, as they were able to assist in coordaining airport transfers (very smooth and easy experience) along with hiring a private driver for a day tour. The Hotel and staff were beautiful, views amazing, rooms well appointed and felt spacious. Had a lovely stay!!

Die Zimmer waren sehr dreckig. Der Boden klebte, es liefen Ameisenstraßen durch‘s Zimmer. Die Fußleisten waren lose. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, erhielten wir ein Upgrade. Das Zimmer war nur unwesentlich sauberer. Außerdem wimmelte es nur so von Moskitos. Auf Nachfrage sagte ein Mitarbeiter, dass das ganze Hotel Moskitofrei wäre. Dafür garantieren sie. Außerdem gäbe es in der ganzen Region kein Dengue (schlichtweg inkorrekt).

Ein tolles Hotel, welches sich an der touristisch weniger ausgeprägten balinesischen Ostküste befindet. Das Zimmer war sauber (einzig hat das Badezimmer leider etwas gemuffelt), das Personal sehr professionell und das Frühstück bzw. das Restaurant sehr lecker. Insbesondere die unmittelbare Nähe zum Meer, ohne dass dies zugleich mit einem hohen Touristenaufkommen verbunden ist, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Klare Empfehlung für Reise, die eine ruhige Ecke in Bali suchen.
